Born in Cannes, France, Sari graduated from Tel Aviv University with a BA degree in Cinema & Television. Since then she has directed a documentary, video clips, and shorts. In 2008, she founded her own company for script–consulting services: SCRIPTLIGHT. For the past two decades she had given script consultations to hundreds of directors at different stages of the writing process. All were selected at prestigious film festivals such as Berlin, Venice, Sundance, and most of them won awards. She has developed and script edited successful TV series such as FAUDA (seasons 2, 3, and 4), BLACKSPACE (Netflix), and JERUSALEM. She is a lecturer for Israeli Film Funds and a well-known script mentor and has been teaching her own writing method in "Produire au Sud" workshops worldwide.

Sari has co-written the feature film THE INTERROGATION, based on the autobiographical book of Rudolf Hoes. She is currently developing a few TV series projects and finishing to write her next feature film. Recently, she wrote and directed her first feature film - WAIT FOR ME, a drama story set in the sea, which has been selected for the official competition of the Warsaw International Film Festival 2022.
