ETERNAL SUN

My next project

ETERNAL SUN

My next feature film is Eternal Sun, a psychological thriller drama movie set in the Negev desert, which follows Miri Eldar (38) in the search for her son Tom (6) after he disappears during a joint trip. As the search for him is slowly progressing, Miri becomes the main suspect in his disappearance. She is accused by the authorities and the police of being a negligent mother. After she's arrested by the regional detective, Yaakov Levy (65), she will do everything in her power to prove him and the others wrong.

But what if they are right?

This is a movie about being able to live a joyful life even if you fail at reaching your goals. The movie explores what price we are willing to pay to achieve something which seems impossible to us. Will we lose our freedom of choice once becoming addicted to reaching our goals? Or is there another way?

If WAIT FOR ME inquired about the sea element, this time I chose the desert as the central location where the story takes place. On one hand, this is a world in which only the strong ones survive; on the other hand, the desert allows powerful silence, introspection and a connection to nature and imagination. The cinematic language will emphasize the suspense in the story. The desert at night will showcase several surrealistic scenes.

Eternal Sun is a movie which combines the psychological thriller genre with the drama genre as a reference in cinematic language such as Roman Polanski and Alfred Hitchcock and Westerns.
